We’re still looking for students to participate in next week Friday’s Student vs. Staff Volleyball games. Use the Google Form link in Mr. Seavert’s email sent this week to sign up to either play volleyball or a Minute To Win It game. We would like all students to fill out the form, as there is an option on the form to check that you don’t want to participate. The form closes at the end of the school day on Tuesday.
Student Council: Is hosting a holiday charity drive to collect personal care items to benefit Family Promise, an organization that provides resources and helps find housing for those who are homeless. Donation from December 1st -12th Students earn a raffle ticket for each item donated for a chance to win a prize. Drop off your donations in the cafeteria before school each morning or during your lunch period.
HOLIDAY SPIRIT WEEK:
Monday, December 15: Holiday Headwear day
Wear a Santa hat, elf hat and ears, reindeer antlers, holiday light headband, etc. to kick of a very festive week
Tuesday, December 16: Christmas Character day
Dress up like Santa, Mrs. Claus, an elf, or one of your favorite characters from a holiday movie.
Wednesday, December 17: Holiday Sweater day
They're not all ugly....some are designed like works of art! Or: "Dress Like a Teacher"
Thursday, December 18: Pajama Day
Dress in your coziest and comfiest PJ's. A bonus if they are holiday themed.
Thursday 12/18 also becomes "Candy Cane Lane", as Student Council will be visiting Flight classes to deliver Candy Cane Grams that were sold as part of the PTO fundraiser that is happening now.
Friday, December 19: Color Clash
It's the traditional Student vs. Faculty Volleyball game, so let's pack the stands to see which color stands out the best before we sled downstairs and out the door for winter break.
6th grade wears RED
7th grade wears WHITE
8th grade wears GREEN
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: Any 7th or 8th grade girl interested in trying out for the volleyball teams needs to be registered by Jan 19th and have a current physical on file. Tryouts will begin Jan 26th.

Student Council: Is hosting a holiday charity drive to collect personal care items to benefit Family Promise, an organization that provides resources and helps find housing for those who are homeless. Donation from December 1st -12th Students earn a raffle ticket for each item donated for a chance to win a prize. Drop off your donations in the cafeteria before school each morning or during your lunch period.
