Students are encouraged to invite active duty or veteran members of our armed service branches for a day of thanks and recognition. Families interested in inviting a Veteran guest can grab a paper copy in the main office or fill out the digital form that is linked in the WMS Newsletter. Deadline to register is Friday, October 24th.

This one mile race starts on the middle school grounds and runs through our beautiful Whitnall School Forest. Whether they race, run, jog or walk it, it's a chance for your kids to enjoy and challenge themselves. Free gifts at the finish and awards for age group winners! Are you interested in poetry, prose, acting, or arguing a point? Then joining Spoken Performance might be for you. In this club you have a ton of options to choose from when it comes to your topic. You can even create and act out a funny infomercial with a friend. We will compete against other middle schools from around the state. If you receive enough high scores from the judges at enough competitions, you will qualify to compete at the state level. Last year, a member of our team took home the gold medal for original poetry. Whitnall Robotics is having their welcome back meeting on Monday Sept. 15th until 4:00pm. The team will discuss the new game, changes to the teams, Team elections. No prior experience with robotics is necessary. If you are interested please meet in the school cafeteria after school on Monday Sept. 15th, Mr. Smith will walk you over to the high school. Have your ride pick up at the High School entrance.
