What is Canvas?
Canvas is an online Learning Management System (LMS) that provides access to instructional resources and academic content for students, teachers, and parents in one digital platform. Students engage in synchronous and asynchronous activities, receive feedback from teachers on their progress,, and can connect with instructors through written and video conferencing. Canvas is integrated with Google for Education Suite and many other educational resources creating a seamless experience for students within the Canvas platform. Parent observers are able to view course content, student work and teacher feedback for all of their students with one login.
