Hello Whitnall Middle School Families,
My name is Chris D’Acquisto and I wanted to quickly introduce myself and express my excitement to be the new Whitnall Middle School principal. As some may know, I spent the past 15 years in the Whitnall School District as principal at Edgerton Elementary School. During my transition to a new role, I’ve appreciated the warm welcome and support of the WMS staff, families, and the community. I feel fortunate to continue working with the students and families whom I’ve gotten to know these past several years. I also look forward to meeting many new faces.
As principal, I strive to build a safe, positive, and inclusive community that serves the unique academic, social and emotional needs of each student. It is important to provide a learning community that empowers students to see themselves as successful learners capable of meeting and exceeding high standards. I’m excited to be working with the WMS staff and with all of you to see the outcomes that we want for all students.
On behalf of the staff, thank you for entrusting your child to us. The 2020-21 school year will be a memorable one. Together, I am confident that we can successfully navigate the challenges and uncertainties of the moment. Should you have any questions, or you would just like to chat, feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
Chris D’Acquisto
