Student absences can be requested through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal or mobile app. To make an absence request, the requester must be the students' guardian and have a parent portal account.
REQUSTING AN ABSENCE
- Log in to your Infinite Campus Parent Portal Account or the Campus Parent mobile app
- Select 'More' from the left navigation, then select 'Absence Requesting'
- Select the student(s) you are requesting an absence for
- Select the absent type (Full Day, Arriving Late, or Leaving Early)
- Select the date(s) of the absence
- Select the reason for the absence Please note that some absences may require additional documentation to verify the absence.
- Enter a comment that provides more details as to the reason for the request. This field is required to request an absence and is only viewable by attendance staff.
- Click 'Submit'
If additional information is required, school attendance staff will contact you. Follow the link Absence Requesting for additional information.
PROCESSED ABSENCE REQUEST
Submitted requests will display a status of 'submitted' until attendance staff have process the request. After being processed, the request will display a status of 'Approved' unless further information is needed.
