VOLUNTEER WITH THE PTO
The Edgerton Elementary School PTO is a volunteer run and driven organization. We rely on the support of our dedicated parents in order to provide the school with funds for things like field trips, special in-school programming like the Artist in Residence program, and additional discretionary funding for teachers. Watch your email for updates and links to sign up to help us at our next PTO event!
BOX TOPS
Box tops are still on many specially marked items that you already purchase but the Box Tops program has gone digital. All you need to do is simply download the Box Tops App (or go to www.boxtops4education.com), select our school and scan your receipts whenever you shop! Any box tops from qualifying products on that receipt wil automatically be added to our account. Clipped Box Tops are still around and you can send those in. Simply remove the box top from the item and send them into school with your child. The PTO receives $0.10 for each Box Top submitted! When our school reaches our mid-year and end-of-year monetary goal, we will have an all-school prize.
PRINTER CARTRIDGES
Collect your used brand name inkjet and laser printer cartridges and turn them into the school office. We recycle them and earn some money as well - a win/win! See www.inkjetsforeducation.com for a list of accepted cartridges.
RESTAURANT PROMOTION NIGHTS
Watch your email for our monthly "Edgerton Nights" at various local restaurants! We receive a percentage of your purchases, and it's a nice way to get to know other Edgerton families!
ROOM PARENTS
Grades K4 (AM/PM) through 5th Grade. Sign up to be Room Parent for your child's classroom! Work with one other Room Parent to develop an activity, craft, and game for the classroom Fall Harvest Party, Winter Party, and Spring Party. Also, you can make sure your child's teacher gets recognition during Teacher Appreciation Week. PTO offers funds to help sponsor these events. This is a great way to be involved in your child's school year. Only PTO members get the opportunity to be Room Parent and a Background Check will get completed.
WIN A DESIGNATED PARKING SPOT FOR A MONTH
At the end of February, during the Family Fun Dance you can enter a raffle to win a designated parking spot for a month. Please respect those who win and leave the designated parking spot open for them. It is marked with a sign. There are other great prizes during the raffle as well so be sure to attend the dance. Watch for the flyer with more information on how to purchase raffle tickets if you can't attend the dance.
SILENT AUCTION
Around the time of the Family Fun Dance, a silent auction runs online for the weekend where you can bid money for prizes. It helps raise money for EES PTO. Keep an eye out for more information as it gets closer.
