Educator (WMS) - Special Education Email Mr. Lambert joined the Whitnall School district in the 2018-19 school year. Prior to coming to Whitnall middle school, he worked in the Elmbrook school district for 8 years (6 years as a special education teaching assistant in grades K-4, and 2 years as a 5th grade special education teacher). Mr. Lambert also has experience working with adults, as well as middle schoolers with special needs, and has done so across many different settings.
Mr. Lambert graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a degree in journalism and mass communication, then attended graduate school at UW-Milwaukee for communications. After working at a job, outside of education, Mr. Lambert went back to school, at Cardinal Stritch, where he obtained his dual certification in both general education and cross-curricular special education, as well as a certification in Emotional and Behavioral Disorders. His schooling was completed within the graduate Master of Inclusive Education program.
Mr. Lambert loves working with all kids, and strives to make learning conducive to each learning style. He promotes a positive learning community around his 3 pillars:
1) respect (of property, each other and adults)
2) giving your best effort each day
3) open/honest communication (with students, families and building stakeholders).
