WSD HELP DESK TECH SUPPORT
Tech support is available to students in all schools by a district technician. Staff will work with students to troubleshoot, provide a temporary loaner device, or make repairs as needed. If a student is not able to meet with a technician, they can submit a Help Desk Support Ticket. A staff member will communicate through email to resolve the issue or meet directly with the student.

CHROMEBOOK LAPTOPSA Chromebook is a web-based laptop that accesses all applications through the internet. Unlike a Mac or PC laptop, applications are not directly installed on the device but are accessed through web tools such as Google Mail, Docs, Drive, etc. While an Internet connection is required, specific files can be made to be available 'offline' to be accessed when WiFi is not available. To increase the functionality of the Chromebook browser, Chrome Extensions can be added by students from a pre-approved list of extensions. Students do not need permission to add or remove an approved extension. Google Chromebook Help - Google online support for Chromebooks GOOGLE APPS & SUPPORT LINKSStudents have access to Google Suite for Education apps including but not limited to Email, Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Calendar, Forms, and YouTube. Apps such as Google Play Store and Google Meet are available with limited access or are restricted to students. The district maintains the right to determine as needed which apps students access and their academic relevance. Google Docs Online Help (Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms) CANVAS LMSCanvas is an online Learning Management System (LMS) that provides access to instructional resources and academic content for students, teachers, and parents in one digital platform. Canvas is integrated with Google for Education Suite and many other educational resources creating a seamless experience for students within the Canvas platform.
