Library Media Center Expectations

The LMC is a place for quiet study, book selection, and research.

Always give proper care to the books, magazines and other materials that you use and/or check out from the LMC.

Remember that you are responsible for all of the materials that you check out from the LMC.

Taking books and/or other library materials without checking them out is considered stealing. This is a very serious offense and appropriate consequences will result.
Checkout
- Books – 2 weeks
- Magazines – 1 week
- Encyclopedias – overnight
Fines and Lost Books
Fines

Book overdue minimum - $.05 a day

Magazine overdue minimum - $.25 a day

Maximum fine - $2.00

Missing Bar Code from book - $1.50
Lost Items
- Book Replacement cost plus $1.50 per book

Magazine Replacement cost plus $.50 per magazine processing fee
