| iMovie "How To" video |
| Using iMovie software, students create a 2 minute video explaining how to do something. The finished video can be live video, a movie slide show, or a combination of both. Subject of the video must be school appropriate. |

| Imovie - ANIMATION |
Using stop animation, student create a 30 second animated movie. DUE: May 2, 2012 |
|
| iMovie - Commercial Project |
Student film a commercial for a real or imaginary product or service. Commercial must meet specific assignment requirements, and be edited making use of imovie elements of video, transitions, sound, and text overlays. Due: April 18, 2012 |

| iMovie - SLIDE SHOW |
Using imovie in the mac lab, students create a video slide show using 10-12 of their own original photos, titles, and a continuous sound track. Due: March 23, 2012 |

| Dream the Impossible |
Using Adobe Photoshop, students cut out parts of different images and then assemble them into a new picture that looks real, and yet is impossible.

| Old Photo Restoration |
Using Adobe Photoshop software, student restore a digital copy of an old damaged photo.

| Personal 'Wordle' |
Using Photoshop software, student explore text options and layer styles to create a personal Wordle. Student must use their name and twenty additional words that describe them or their interests.

Using Adobe Photoshop software, student recolor a black and white image with new colors.

| File Formats Quiz RETAKE |
| Quiz covering file formats of digital images and video files. This is a retake quiz for those students who did not successfully complete the first quiz. |

Course Description
In this course, students will explore and develop advanced skills utilizing 21st century technologies. Through instruction they will learn about the visual, graphic, and video components of communication and create real world applications such as video editing, use of Photoshop, and desk top publishing. Ethics and responsible use of technology will be emphasized as students work in virtual environments.
