Academic Development

1) Check transcripts on Infinite Campus reports

Credits completed through mid junior year - min 15 credits
Are you on target to complete all required courses?
Keep your grades up - transcripts important - students were encouraged to sign up for rigorous classes
Courses were to be chosen based upon career cluster
Review next year course requests

2) Check entrance requirements - for post high school program of interest

3) Register for and take the entrance test required for your program

ACT - register to take the ACT - required for 2 or 4 year colleges, also accepted at WI technical colleges send scores directly to schools that interest you. WHS code is 500-838.
SAT and subject tests, register if needed. Most will take ACT some may want both. Register if needed.
Acculacer - placement test at MATC.
ASVAB - military

Review EXPLORE, PLAN, Practice ACT/ PSAT
Are you on track with scores needed for post high school plan? Areas for improvemet / study if needed

Personal/ Social Development

1) WISCAREERS - program which offers the ability to take career assessments, search occupations,

search schools, military occupations, and more. Review information in your ILP/ePortfolio

Dreams for your Future (Freshman reflection atached)
Review Personal Brochure (attach in ILP): Talents, abilites, interests, service, co-curricular activities

Career Development

1) ILP/ePortfolio review assessments are taken each year

2) Review Career Cluster - 4 year plan attached in ILP/ePortfolio

3) Review Saved occcupations - at least 2 occupations to your ILP/ePortfolio

4) Review educational plans based upon occupations of interests

5) Discuss the NEXT Steps
