Whitnall High School Introduces its NEW Academic Support Center

Need help? "ASC"! (Pronounced like "ASK".) Many students are familiar with the Content Mastery Center at Whitnall Middle School. Those of you with children in college may have heard of writing centers and math labs available at universities all over the United States. Well, now WHS has its very own Academic Support Center, where students can obtain help in a variety of academic subjects. The ASC is staffed by licensed teachers, lead by Ms. Karen Knar and Ms. Kelly Hakow.

If a student is having difficulty with a subject, they can receive on-campus assistance in the ASC. We're willing and able to help students edit their papers, solve math problems, or make up tests. Students may access the ASC before or after school, during a study hall or during a class with teacher permission. Support is available on any school day from 7:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. The Academic Support Center is located in Room 238, adjacent to the library and across the hall from the District Office. We want the students of Whitnall School District to succeed, so we're encouraging them to stop in and visit the ASC soon. We're here for ALL STUDENTS!
