The WHS Leadership Team works collaboratively with all staff members to provide a quality program for the students. A key component in the success of the high school is the development of building goals focused on student achievement.  

2009-10 Whitnall High School building goal

100% of the staff will develop, utilize, and analyze one common unit, including formative assessments, per semester of the 2009-10 school year.

Long-Term Goal

Through the alignment WHS course goals, development of common course units, and analysis of course-specific common assessments, the WHS staff is committed to increasing student achievement as evidenced by a .2 point growth in the WHS average ACT composite score (22.6) by the end of the 2010-11 school year and an average ACT composite score of 24 by 2013-14.
