Student Senate is an organization that is available to all students in good standing at Whitnall High School. The purpose of Senate is to allow student representation to provide a liaison between students and administration, and to promote a positive educational environment. Students develop leadership skills by attending conferences and organizing school and community events.
There are 45 members, including 5 executive officers, and 4 class officers and 6 class representatives for each grade. Meetings are held every Wednesday after school to address school concerns, provide for the needs of the community, state and nation and promote unity in the school through various social activities. Student Senate is an award winning member of the Wisconsin Association of Student Councils (WASC).
