Powerlifting

COACHES:  R.G. Luckow, Scott Schubert, Matt Klein

Whitnall High School Powerlifting is a sport offered to all students in good standing at Whitnall.  Those students who participate in a fall and/or spring sport, but do not have a winter sport, powerlifting is for you.  Meet new people, learn proper lifting techniques, and compete against other athletes from around the state.

Whitnall Powerlifting competes at Regional (4 meets), State, and National events.  If you are strong enough, you could be selected for the USA World Team and represent the United States in International competition.

The governing body, which sanctions all meets, is the International Powerlifting Federation (IPF).  Lifters may be drug tested.  Whether you are looking to improve your strength and conditioning for another sport, or just looking to be part of an exciting activity, give Whitnall High School Powerlifting a try.

As a Whitnall club we have been truely blessed with focused lifters and supportive parents.

Please visit the rest of our powerlifting site.  Just scroll down the column to the left and cover "Powerlifting" with your mouse.  We hope you will enjoy the tour.
