The Whitnall Model United Nations Club is designed for those with an interest in politics, world affairs, and role-playing.  The main focus of the club is to represent Whitnall High School at Model U.N. sessions at the state, regional, and national level.  Students choose a country to represent, learn all they can about the culture, economics, policies, and world view of that nation, and “become” that nation in Mock U.N. conferences.  Model U.N. Club also involves itself in promotion of world peace through international understanding and participates in world humanitarian efforts such as sponsoring a child in a third world nation and fund raising for UNICEF, UNESCO, and International Red Cross efforts.

Meetings are held once per month, or as needed.
