Bowling

Advisor: Mr. Schweiger

How would you like to experience competitive bowling? Now you can by joining the Whitnall High School Bowling Club. We are a member of the Wisconsin High School Bowling Club District #1.  There are 3 divisions, 21 schools and over 450 students in District #1, all competing for a chance to go to the state tournament. Matches are held using the Baker format of tournament bowling. This means that 5 bowlers each bowl 2 frames to make a game. The team has to win 5 games to win the match with a 7 game minimum. The season starts with tryouts in late October with matches beginning in early December and running through February. The State Tournament is in early March and is televised on Time Warner. For more information, see the Athletic Director or the District #1 website at www.wihsbowlclub.com.
