The 2008 season started immediately following the end of football.  This year we lost Estaban Robles and Matt Klien, but where happy to welcome Matt as an assistant coach.  In 2007, our first year competing, we had 7 lifters.  This year we had 16.  In the following links you will see results, National Champions, newspaper articles, and much more.  Our hope, as coaches, is the following pages will help to give credit to the young men that trained two hours a day, four days a week for months to attain their goals.  It is also important to remember the parents of these lifters.  Sitting in the stands for hours just to watch 9 lifts, driving them to practise, and purchasing the needed equipment is something we should all thank them for.
