The powerlifter of the year award is the top award for Whitnall powerlifting.  Aside from top finishes at Regional, State, and National competitions, these athletes must show a willingness to help others.  These two lifters placed consistantly on top at Regional meets, and top 4 at the State and National level.  Both have been awarded "best lifter" at many of the competitions.
