ParentCONNECT Becomes Infinite Campus
Interested in viewing grades and attendance online? In the past we have used a system called "ParentCONNECT". Over the summer, we've worked to implement a new and updated portal that will allow parents AND students the ability to check this information at any time, from any computer!
Updates from last year's ParentCONNECT system include:
- New student accounts in addition to parent/family accounts. This allows your students to check their own academic and attendance information without access to other students in the house.
- Real-time information! With ParentCONNECT, updates happened overnight. With Infinite Campus, grades and attendance are updated in your account as soon as teachers and staff update them.
- An easy to read calendar view of all upcoming assignments and attendance events in one place.
We are working hard at verifying that all of the student and family data is correct. Once the verification is complete, parent/family accounts should be ready during the second quarter. However, student accounts are available and ready to use right now!
Here's how to log in (parents are encouraged to use the student accounts until family accounts are ready):
- First visit our website at www.whitnall.com and use the "For Students" or "For Parents" link to choose "Online Assignments and Grades"
- Username: Student ID number (found on either their schedule or student ID card)
- Password: Student's birthday in MMDDYY format (i.e. a student's password would be 010894 if their birthday was January 8, 1994)
- When you first log in you will be asked to change your password. This is to ensure privacy of information. Please be aware that if you forget your password, you will be required to contact the school office during regular hours to have it reset!
Once logged in, using the portal is straightforword: simply use the links on the left to navigate. If you experience any difficulty, please contact your school office or Greg Haar, Technology Coordinator at ghaar@whitnall.com.
