The Whitnall Schools Foundation is proud to offer Post High School Education Scholarships. The program is available to any Whitnall High School senior who will be attending a post high school educational or training program that furthers the student’s education and prepares them for employment.

The Whitnall Schools Foundation will provide up to $500 per student in Post High School Education Scholarships.

The Appropriations Committee will make recommendations for grants to the Whitnall Schools Foundation Board of Directors according to the following criteria:

  1. Type of program and relative cost.
  2. High school GPA, must be 2.50 or higher. Attach a copy of student transcript.
  3. School and community involvement.
  4. Recommendations.
  5. Demonstrated financial need based on Free Application for Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA).
  6. Essay on why the student is deserving of the scholarship.

Applications for scholarships must be completed by the prescribed date.

Timeline Schedule

  • January 1 - Applications available in District Office and high school counseling office.
  • March 1 - Applications due in District Office by 3:00 p.m.
  • April 1 - Recipients approved by the Whitnall Schools Foundation Board of Directors.
