The Whitnall School Board derives its authority directly from the Wisconsin Constitution and the state statutes. The School Board consists of seven members elected at large. The Board is charged with the duty of developing policies for governing public education in the Whitnall School District specifically providing the kind of educational programs and facilities required or permitted by law. The Board shall act officially only when in authorized and legally held meetings. The schedule for the regular meetings is developed each spring after the election of the new officers. All regular School Board Meetings are open to the public unless otherwise expressly provided by law. The School Board Meeting Agendas and Minutes are published on the website.
The School Board has approved policies governed by State Statute. The Policy Index lists all of the policy categories in the numbered series.
