We are looking for a few dedicated, enthusiastic volunteers to be our first Whitnall Ambassadors!

What's involved:

  • Ambassadors will be given a stylish shirt and button that can be worn at a school event, community event, or any event
  • At events, ambassadors will be available to answer questions, hear concerns, and relay positive, factual information about our schools
  • Ambassadors should have a sincere desire to represent our schools
  • Ambassadors should have the ability to make a positive first impression and serve as a role model in our schools
  • Ambassadors should have good listening and problem-solving skills
  • Ambassadors will assist people with concerns to find the appropriate resources to answer their questions
  • Ambassadors will not be asked to advocate for any specific issue or agenda
  • Ambassadors should have at least 2 years involvement with the schools - as a teacher, parent, student or staff member

  • Ambassadors will be asked to attend 1-3 short evening meetings throughout the school year
  • Ambassadors will be expected to attend 4-6 school or community events per year wearing their Ambassador shirt
  • Ambassadors will be asked to participate in an email group to share questions, concerns, success stories, and tips
